1. System Requirements

The 7 steps 2 success program is delivered using Moodle, a learning platform used to deliver E-learning courses and a leader in the virtual learning environment. 

To run the 7 steps 2 success program effectively you should use the system components listed on this page.

Operating system

Recommended

Windows 7, Windows 8, MAC OSX Yosemite, iPad IOS8

Internet speed

Use a broadband connection (256 Kbit/sec or faster). This will ensure you can view videos and online presentations. Dial-up access is not recommended.

Internet browsers

Compatible browsers include:

• Google Chrome 32 bit version 38 or later
• Safari 8 or later
• Mozilla Firefox 35.0 or later
• Internet Explorer 11 (earlier versions of IE are not recommended)

Settings

We recommend that the following be enabled:

Resource viewing

We recommend that you use the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

To view all the resources uploaded to 7 steps 2 success you will probably need to have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), or an equivalent, installed.

With all firewalls, ensure that you enable uploading of files.
